Rita is my third sister. I don’t think I can describe our relationship better than that. Leaving for law school was really tough because it was the first time I’d been so far away from my family and friends. When Rita moved to New York during my second year I think I was more excited than she was. I probably spent as much time going back and forth to New York to visit her as I did in class, and I don’t know how I would have made it through the rest of law school without her. She’s been there for me through the good and the bad over the years (although “the bad” was usually her idea). I’m very grateful to have her as a friend and can’t wait until she moves to Chicago!
